Introducing the New Additions to Our Camp Leadership Team

Camp Mah-Kee-NacJan 27, 2025

The winter months may feel long, but we are getting closer to welcoming our first staff and campers to Camp Mah-Kee-Nac for Summer 2025. We are busy planning for another amazing summer at Camp and we hope you are getting as excited as we are!

With each new year comes a new group of campers and staff ready to experience the magic of Camp MKN for the first time. This year, we are excited to welcome new campers along with two new year-round leaders: Ryan Butler and Fabi Baez.

Ryan and Fabi are both Camp veterans, having worked with us in past summers. We now welcome them to our leadership team as two experienced and well-established staff members. Both Ryan and Fabi will play an integral role in ensuring the health, safety, and FUN times of our campers. Some campers may know them already, but for those who haven’t met them yet, let’s take a moment to learn more about them.

Favorite Camp Activity: The Olympics!

What will you be doing in your role?: My main priority is overseeing all three of our campuses, ensuring the well-being of our campers and staff, and building meaningful relationships with as many campers as possible.

What led you to join the Camp MKN team?: I was in the camping industry for 8 years and was looking for a new challenge with opportunities for growth. Camp Mah-Kee-Nac stood out to me because of its amazing community and the wide variety of activities it offers to teach and participate in. It quickly became my top choice!

What led you to join the Camp MKN team?: My sister started working for Camp first. She told me about the amazing time she had and said it was a great opportunity.

What are you most looking forward to this summer?: I am most looking forward to seeing the campers and how much they have grown in the past year. It’s amazing to see how they have matured and how their interests have changed. Also looking forward to meeting our staff and seeing everything come together.
